The Start

From the very beginning business owner, Ebony Gordon envisioned Hairista as a beautiful acronym meaning ‘Hair is the Accessory’. And in 2012, HAIRista, LLC was born. In April 2014, Hairista Studio opened its first salon in Hampton Virginia.

Hairista Studio provides exceptional beauty services that are personalized for each client in a relaxed, modern, and professional atmosphere. We have always prided ourselves in being ahead of trends with the foundation ALWAYS being ‘Healthy hair with Attitude’.

The Vibe

The original Hairista Studio, was situated in the historic section of Phoebus in Hampton, VA. But in late 2021, the Studio got an exciting opportunity & was then relocated to the footsteps of Ebony’s alma mater, The Hampton University.

Although the location was different, the vibe remains the same. A modern and trendy beauty salon that caters to Hampton Road’s most elite clientele. We offer a variety of services just as unique and beautiful as the client receiving them.
